It seems that the greatest conflicts are between one person and himself because each person has his/her entire being invested in that conflict. People have always struggled with the right thing to do.  I think that's why Buddhists consider the best course of action a person can take is to improve himself/herself.  If every person concentrated on his own faults and tried to improve, instead of concentrating on others people faults and getting them to improve, we would have a lot less conflicts between two people.

Hey Jerry, you will make an excellent point and have you thought about taking up a job as a marriage councellor! Laughing

So let me get to my point....I 100% agree with Garth on this.  For me, the greatest conflict for me is taking risks and doing things that are outside my comfort zone.  Sometimes, I really need to do a prep talk to get me started and that seems to work for me.
