Things that make our Saguaro TM club unique are as follows: a. We are one of the oldest TM clubs in the USA and the oldest in Arizona. We were chartered on 12/4/1934. Our 75th birthday is quickly approaching. One former AZ governor was a member of Saguaro TM. b. We are one of the most stable TM clubs in Tucson, as we met at the same place (Central Church of the Nazarene) for nearly (20) years and now at usually one of the most colorful, upbeat meeting rooms in Tucson for ~(2-3) years. c. Our membership is the "cream of the crop" in Tucson including several very experienced members and several new members who seem to progress fast toward being competent oral presenters and enthusiastic TM advocates. d. The evaluations received in our Club rarely "soft pedal"speaker shortcomings. The presenter knows where he/she stands as their skills improve. e. We have finally achieved charter strength status and it looks good to maintain that level for the future. f. When we had membership and attendance problems, several members from other local TM clubs voluntarily stepped-in to assist us and turned the trend around. g. Our Monday meeting nights are very stable also. It has been well over (20) years since we ever met on another evening.
