Hi,
in my job I often get frustrated when I see some people have difficulities getting their message across, and to be honest, that has happended to me sometimes!

I know that I sometimes rush ahead to get my point in quickly and on reflection, miss out some important information.

Does anyone have any advice on this?

Regards,
Sarah Graham

Hi Sarah

Interesting post…

I guess many people, including myself would just start talking and hope to end this off with a great closing statement. I sometimes come unstuck also!

If it is an important situation, I would consider the audience and quickly note what are the key point I want to say.

Hope that helps.

Try and be specific in what you want to say. To be honest, I get annoyed if someone is just rambling on.

I sometimes don't pay attention to the speaker(s) and therefore don't get the full message and therefore make the wrong assumptions and therefore don't respond correctly.
