Mr Zuma, South African leader is meeting President Mugabe to resolve a decade-long political crisis that has contributed to economic ruin in the country.

Interanl issues and constant bickering within the very fragile alliance over policy and the slow pace of reforms have held back progress.

So...

What do you make of the troubled alliance between Mr Mugabe and his old rival Morgan Tsvangirai.

Is this alliance the best solution in the longer term for this very troubled country....

What advice would you give?

Regards

Jospeh Jophes, Oslo.

Stick it out would be my advice. Morgan Tsvangirai has his foot in the door and it will not be very long before Mugabe steps down to give him full control

Great question, unfortuately I only see slow and painful progress here. I just wish the whole country would rally around the need for change and force the situation...easily said then done.
