These are the words from Israeli Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu concerning the US demands to stop settlement building in East Jerusalem.

Some would say not wise words to say when this is a day before he meets President Obama.

Mr Netanyahu argues that this land will be part of Israel in any peace settlement. He may be sorry about the timing of this decision but not the content.

My QUESTION is.....what is President Obama's next move?

Wow, what a question......

I would ask him a simple question. Does he believe in a peaceful solution?

I would stress the importance of patience and taking action that will achieve this goal in the longer-term!

Very much like putting together a complex jigsaw puzzle and not being tempted to throw it all away!

Tough,

Its hard to look favorably to Israel with the way they are behaving.

The state should look on histriy on how they were persecuted in the past to see they have become the persecutor.

The only solution is to sit down, stop building settlements on occupied land and talk and talk and talk until the solution is found.

But first trust must be built and the only way to do that is by making small steps.

Thank you Michael and Adrain for your feedback.

So yes, small steps to build trust is the key here.
