At the risk of creating more competition for those of us who HAVE entered. COME ON PEOPLE!!! Sit down and take a few minutes to write an opening. You don't have to read the whole speech. You don't have to read anything but the opening. Just write an alternative opening for the speech. Justin isn't doing this because he wonders what a different opening would sound like. He's doing it to jumpstart the speaker in all of us and help us hone our abilities. There's no better way to do that than to practice, and get some feedback from our peers. It makes it more fun to come around here, too. Just DO it!!!!!
